Job Title: HR Business Partner
Location: Hybrid in Malta
Reporting to: Head of HR
The Role
This is no ordinary HRBP position. Yes, you’ll manage core HR operations — but you’ll also have the chance to shape our people experience, partner closely with managers, and drive projects that have lasting impact.
Core HR responsibilities
Act as a strategic partner to managers across assigned functions
Draft and manage employment contracts, service agreements, and addendum letters
Oversee payroll inputs and processes
Assist with recruitment, offers, and onboarding, ensuring a world-class new hire experience
Manage probation reviews, disciplinary cases, and offboarding processes
Handle employee relations issues with a proactive, solution-focused mindset.
Design and deliver manager capability workshops — helping our managers strengthen skills in feedback, performance conversations, employee wellbeing, and team leadership
Coordinate employee engagement surveys and work with managers to build and track action plans, including addressing areas like poor performance or low engagement
Support and contribute to our diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) efforts
Lead or assist in one-off HR projects (e.g. job architecture frameworks, performance management cycles, salary reviews).

Take ownership of HRIS improvements — enhancing systems, data reporting, and process automation
Partner on our wellbeing strategy and launch initiatives that truly make a difference
What You Bring
- Strong HR generalist experience in Malta or similar markets (international exposure a plus).
- Experience in an HRBP role will be considered an asset
- Knowledge of Maltese employment law (plus ideally exposure to other jurisdictions)
- Comfortable advising managers
- Proactive, collaborative, and able to work independently
- Excellent communication and organisational skills.
