Location: Hybrid - Mrieħel, Malta (3 days per week in office)
Reporting to: Head of Acquisition & Planning
The Role
We are seeking an experienced and technically strong SEO Manager to join our growing team. In this role, you will take ownership of a portfolio of client websites, developing and executing SEO strategies that drive measurable growth in rankings, traffic, and conversions. You will work with cross-functional teams, including content, development, and marketing, to ensure technical excellence and seamless integration of SEO efforts.
Key Responsibilities
- Own and manage SEO strategies for client websites, with a focus on increasing visibility, traffic, and performance of core revenue-generating pages.
- Conduct in-depth keyword research, technical audits, and competitive analysis to identify high-impact SEO opportunities.
- Collaborate with developers to implement technical SEO enhancements including page speed improvements, schema markup, and crawl/index optimizations.
- Ensure robust on-page SEO execution — meta tags, header structures, internal linking, URL optimization, and content quality.
- Drive effective content planning in coordination with writers to support topic clusters and SEO goals.
- Use tools like Search Console, GA4, Screaming Frog, SEMrush, and similar to monitor site performance, crawl errors, and user behavior.
- Stay updated on search algorithm updates and best practices to continually refine strategy.
- Produce regular SEO reports with actionable insights and KPIs, communicating findings with internal and client stakeholders.
What You Bring
- 3+ years of proven experience in SEO with strong focus on technical implementation and strategy.

Solid understanding of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript with the ability to communicate SEO requirements to dev teams.

Experience managing and executing comprehensive content and linking strategies.

Advanced skills in SEO tools such as Google Analytics, Search Console, SEMrush, Moz, Ahrefs, and Screaming Frog.

Familiarity with Excel (pivot tables, vlookups, data handling).

Experience working with databases and structured data is a plus.

Understanding of content clusters, topical authority, and modern content architecture.
- Strong analytical mindset, problem-solving skills, and a data-driven approach.
- Fluency in English is required.
