Location: Hybrid - Mrieħel, Malta (3 days per week in office) or remote (daytime CET)

The Role
We are seeking a results-driven Country Manager. In this role, where you will be the ultimate owner of the success of casino brands in the Canadian market. You'll craft the market strategy, lead localization efforts, accelerate customer acquisition, and ensure operational excellence, acting as the primary bridge between local market needs and operational teams. Your success will directly translate into the profitable growth and market positioning of the entire portfolio across the country.
Key Responsibilities
- Market Strategy & P&L Ownership: Own and execute the comprehensive Canada market strategy, launch plan, and growth roadmap. Take full ownership of key performance indicators (KPIs) and P&L targets for the region.
- Acquisition & Partnerships: Build, manage, and scale all local acquisition channels, including strategic relationships with affiliates, streamers, influencers, and Payment Service Providers (PSPs). Utilize strong commercial and negotiation skills to secure high-value partnerships.
- Localization & Player Experience: Act as the primary liaison, coordinating closely with central teams (CRM, VIP, Casino, Support) to ensure a fully localized, best-in-class player experience that is compliant with local expectations.
- Performance Monitoring & Optimization: Rigorously monitor performance KPIs, analyze market trends, and proactively adjust strategies to hit ambitious financial and operational targets.
- Regulatory & Stakeholder Management: Represent the brand's credibility with local partners, regulators, and all key market stakeholders, ensuring a trustworthy and compliant presence.
What You Bring
- Proven iGaming experience in a similar role (marketing, operations, product).
- Strong, demonstrable knowledge of Canadian consumer behavior, local payment ecosystems, and the competitive landscape.
- Strong commercial skills and a track record of successful negotiation and relationship management with partners and affiliates.
- Excellent communication skills in English (native or near-native proficiency).
- Cross-Functional Leadership: must be able to effectively collaborate and drive, align, and coordinate strategic efforts across global teams
- A highly data-driven, results-oriented mindset with a demonstrated ability to take ownership of demanding KPIs.
- Network of affiliates, streamers, and PSPs already in Canada.
- Prior experience navigating regulated Canadian provinces.
- Track record of launching new markets from scratch to profitability.
