Location: Hybrid – Malta (3 days per week in office)

Reporting to: Head of Information Security

Key Responsibilities

• Manage Cloudflare as the primary perimeter, handling DNS records, WAF rules, and CDN configuration.

• Act as the lead for local networks, VPNs, and connectivity for both the office and remote staff.

• Lead day-to-day IT operations, triaging hardware and software issues across Windows and macOS.

• Own the technical onboarding and offboarding lifecycle for all employees.

• Partner with Information Security to support ISO 27001 and GDPR compliance and audit readiness.

• Maintain accurate documentation, asset registers, and access records.

• Own SendGrid end-to-end and manage the client's domain portfolio across multiple registrars to ensure high deliverability.

• Configure and maintain SPF, DKIM, and DMARC protocols to protect sender reputation.

• Contribute to IT roadmap planning, budgeting, and vendor management.

What You Bring

• Proven experience in an IT Manager or senior IT role, ideally in a fast-paced environment.

• Experience leading or mentoring a small technical team with a focus on accountability.

• Solid hands-on expertise with Cloudflare, SendGrid, and modern domain registrars.

• Deep understanding of nameserver routing, propagation, and trust chains.

• Strong working knowledge of email authentication (SPF/DKIM/DMARC).

• Technical proficiency in troubleshooting both Windows and macOS environments.

• Practical exposure to compliance frameworks such as ISO 27001 and GDPR.

• Excellent communication skills to translate technical hurdles for non-technical stakeholders.
