➡️ Strategic People & Culture Leadership
Architect the Employee Journey: You’ll design and spearhead the ultimate A-to-Z employee experience. From building a stellar, scalable onboarding program that wows newbies on Day 1, to driving impactful performance management and respectful off-boarding strategies, you own the entire lifecycle.
Oversee HR Operations: Take ultimate ownership of our HR infrastructure. You will establish and oversee the systems for contract management, record-keeping, and payroll/benefits administration, ensuring everything runs flawlessly behind the scenes as we scale.
Champion our DNA: Act as the chief guardian of our company culture. You will actively design and nurture a high-energy, engaging workplace environment that aligns perfectly with our strategic vision and ambitious, driven DNA.
➡️ Compliance, Organizational Health & Employee Relations
Build the Framework: Develop and implement comprehensive HR policies entirely from scratch. You will ensure bulletproof compliance with Maltese labor laws while designing smart frameworks that enable and accelerate—rather than slow down—our business momentum.
Executive Partner & Coach: Serve as a strategic partner to the leadership team and the ultimate sounding board for all complex employee matters. You will coach senior leaders and line managers, handling employee relations with fairness, consistency, and executive maturity.
➡️ Workplace Strategy, Experience & Safety
Direct the Hub's Vision: Set the strategy for our Malta office experience. While overseeing the day-to-day magic of our workplace, you will manage high-level vendor relationships, optimize facility budgets, and ensure a seamless tech and epic swag experience for new hires.
Drive Engagement: Champion our internal communications and engagement strategy. You will oversee the planning of major milestone celebrations, company-wide events, and unforgettable gatherings that forge strong, cross-functional team bonds.
Champion Health & Safety: Direct our physical safety and wellness strategy. You will oversee risk assessments, ensure top-tier compliance with essential safety training, and design ongoing wellness initiatives that keep our workforce healthy, happy, and thriving.
What You Bring to the Team
Hyper-Growth DNA: You have a solid track record in a Head of HR role within a fast-paced, hyper-growth environment (B2C startup or operator experience is a massive plus!).
Local Expertise: You bring a deep, practical understanding of Maltese employment law and know how to build compliant frameworks that protect the business without stifling startup innovation.
Proactive Hustle: You anticipate what the business needs before you are even asked, taking total initiative to manage HR processes end-to-end with minimal guidance.
Chaos Coordinator: Commercially aware and incredibly organized, you thrive on bringing structure to chaos. You are solutions-focused, detail-oriented, and effortlessly juggle multiple priorities while building scalable processes from scratch.
Leadership Drive: You have the ability—and the genuine drive—to build, mentor, and lead a high-performing People team as the business scales up.
Magnetic Communication: You express ideas clearly and confidently, building genuine relationships effortlessly across all levels. Fluency in English is a must; Maltese language skills are a fantastic bonus!
