Location: Remote from Europe
Reporting to: Product Manager
This is a hands-on, execution-oriented role. You'll partner closely with Frontend engineers and designers daily, manage a real backlog with real tradeoffs, and be the connective tissue between the team and the casino vertical stakeholders who depend on it.
In your first six months, you'll build deep domain knowledge, establish reliable delivery rhythms, and earn trust across the people who matter. After a year, you'll be operating autonomously making most prioritization calls independently and shaping where Core goes next.
Your mission
Own the backlog end-to-end. Discovery, story writing, prioritization, sprint planning, and delivery oversight. Maintain a groomed backlog at least two sprints deep at all times, with clear acceptance criteria on every story before it enters a sprint.
Write stories engineers and QA can act on. Clear scope, unambiguous acceptance criteria, no surprises mid-sprint.
Partner with design on lobby and menu UI. Push back when something isn't right. Be the player's advocate in every design conversation.
Collaborate with FE engineering on technical tradeoffs. Understand the constraints, contribute to feasibility discussions, and help the team make good calls under pressure.
Keep stakeholders informed and aligned. Proactively surface tradeoffs, share progress, and resolve priority conflicts before they escalate, especially with the casino vertical.
Run sprint ceremonies and improve how the team works. Planning, refinement, retrospectives - lead them well and use them to drive continuous improvement.
Take initiative beyond the job description. When something is getting in the team's way, fix it - even if it's not strictly your problem.
What You Bring
Minimum 1 year of experience in a product role, with shipped consumer-facing work on high-traffic web or mobile surfaces.
Background in iGaming, fintech, e-commerce, gaming, or another regulated or consumer industry strongly preferred.
Demonstrated ability to write well-scoped user stories with clear, actionable acceptance criteria.
Strong collaboration skills with designers and engineers; comfortable navigating disagreement constructively rather than avoiding it.
Comfortable with Scrum, Kanban, or hybrid delivery - you've run ceremonies before and know how to make them useful.
Strong written and verbal English. Async-first communication is non-negotiable in a fully distributed team.
High agency: you take ownership of problems beyond the literal job description and don't wait to be told.
Curious about player behavior, product mechanics, and the iGaming domain.
Comfortable using AI tools as leverage, treats AI as a productivity multiplier, owns and verifies every output, never outsources thinking.
Nice to Have
Prior iGaming experience, especially on casino product: lobby, game launch, or player journey.
Familiarity with FE performance metrics (Core Web Vitals, load time, time-to-interactive) and how they connect to player behavior.
Technical literacy: can read a Figma file fluently, understands what a feature flag is, can follow a basic FE technical discussion.
Experience in a multi-brand environment and exposure to regulated markets.
A genuine point of view on what makes a great casino lobby experience.
Background in design, QA, or engineering before moving into product.
