Are you ready to head to the frontlines of Web3 gaming? We are looking for a sharp, agile, and data-driven Payments Risk Team Lead to spearhead our fraud defense and payment operations.

You will lead a dedicated team keeping our ecosystem secure, optimizing our payment success rates, and ensuring our players enjoy a seamless, friction-free experience. Key Responsibilities
Lead & Mentor: Inspire, coach, and develop a high-performing Payments Risk Team, fostering a collaborative, elite, and performance-driven environment.
Daily Operations: Assign, prioritize, and monitor daily operational tasks to ensure maximum efficiency, accuracy, and strict SLA compliance.
Transaction Monitoring: Oversee all payment traffic to detect and mitigate suspicious behavior, sophisticated fraud patterns, chargebacks, and evolving crypto/fiat payment risks.
Incident Management: Take the wheel on escalated, high-value, or complex risk cases, ensuring rapid and effective resolution.
Strategy & Automation: Develop, implement, and continuously fine-tune our fraud prevention strategies, rule engines, and automated operational workflows.
Compliance Alignment: Collaborate closely with our Compliance team to ensure flawless adherence to AML (Anti-Money Laundering), KYC (Know Your Customer), and international regulatory standards.
Data-Driven Insights: Analyze risk trends, compile performance metrics, and deliver actionable insights and recommendations directly to senior management.
Stay Ahead of the Curve: Act as the team's subject matter expert on emerging crypto and fiat payment methods, industry trends, novel fraud schemes, and Web3 regulatory shifts.
PSP & Ops Support: Partner directly with the Head of Payments to tackle daily operations tickets and manage communications with our Payment Service Providers (PSPs).
Required Skills & Qualifications
Industry Experience: 3+ years of experience in Payments Risk, Fraud Prevention, AML, or Payment Operations—ideally within iGaming, crypto casinos, or high-velocity FinTech.
Leadership Edge: Proven track record of leading, supervising, or mentoring a team in a fast-paced, 24/7 digital environment.
Risk Domain Expertise: Deep understanding of global payment systems, chargeback mechanisms, transaction monitoring, and modern fraud detection methodologies.
Compliance Savvy: Solid, practical knowledge of AML/KYC principles and risk management best practices tailored to online gaming players.
Tech-Minded: Hands-on experience working with payment gateways, crypto rails, third-party PSPs, and cutting-edge fraud prevention tools.
Powerhouse Communication: Exceptional leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills—you know how to translate complex risk data into clear business priorities.
